Commercial Electrical

Reliable, code-compliant electrical infrastructure for offices, retail spaces, warehouses, and industrial facilities. Built to handle real commercial demand — on time, on budget.

Commercial electrical work demands a different level of planning, scale, and precision than residential. The stakes are higher — downtime costs money, compliance failures have legal consequences, and the systems need to support demanding, continuous use day after day.

SlowBear Industries has delivered commercial electrical projects across offices, retail units, hospitality venues, warehouses, and light industrial facilities. We understand how to work within tight construction programmes, alongside other trades, and around operational businesses that can't simply shut down during works.

Every commercial project we take on is fully documented, inspected, and certified to relevant standards. We'll also handle all coordination with building control and inspection bodies where required.

Our Process

Commercial projects require careful coordination. Here's how we manage every stage from first contact to handover.

1

Consultation & Site Survey

We meet with you on site to understand your operational requirements, review existing infrastructure, and identify any constraints or compliance obligations.

2

Electrical Design

For larger projects, we produce a full electrical design including load calculations, circuit schedules, and single-line diagrams that form the basis of the installation.

3

Detailed Proposal

You receive a comprehensive written proposal covering scope, programme, cost, and any phasing requirements to minimise disruption to your operations.

4

Phased Installation

We work to an agreed programme, coordinating with your team and other contractors. Out-of-hours working is available where operational continuity requires it.

5

Testing & Commissioning

All systems are fully tested and commissioned to manufacturer and regulatory standards before handover. No shortcuts.

6

Compliance Certification

We issue the full certification package including installation certificates, test results, and O&M documentation for your records.

Frequently Asked

Yes. We regularly carry out commercial work during evenings and weekends for businesses that cannot afford downtime during operating hours. Out-of-hours working is factored into the project proposal at the quoting stage.
For notifiable work, we handle all necessary notifications and can liaise with building control on your behalf. We'll flag any permit requirements at the design stage so there are no surprises later in the programme.
Absolutely. We're experienced at working within multi-trade fit-out programmes. We attend site meetings, adhere to programme milestones, and coordinate with the principal contractor to ensure the electrical works dovetail with other trades efficiently.
