Sector 4 covers two very different realities in Bucharest: the apartment-block neighborhoods of Berceni and Oltenitei, built in the 1970s and '80s, and the fast-developing areas around Metalurgiei and Progresul. The work involved differs significantly between the two, from modernizing old consumer units to completing the wiring in new developments.

Areas covered

Berceni, Tineretului, Oltenitei, Giurgiului, Vacaresti, Progresul, Metalurgiei, Timpuri Noi

Berceni and Oltenitei

These neighborhoods consist mostly of blocks built in the 1970s and '80s, with the same shortcomings found across Bucharest: aluminium wiring, undersized consumer units, and a lack of proper circuit grouping. The most common request is upgrading the consumer unit and correctly separating circuits into groups, especially for the kitchen and high-power appliances.

Metalurgiei and Progresul

This area has seen significant development in recent years, with new residential complexes where the wiring is up to code, but we frequently get requests to add to it after handover: extra circuits, outlets added after fit-out, and additional protection devices.

Tineretului and Timpuri Noi

This area has a more mixed building stock, with properties built before 1977 that later went through successive rounds of structural reinforcement and renovation. We always check whether those interventions also included updating the electrical system โ€” an aspect that's often overlooked.

We cover Sector 4 for scheduled work, emergency call-outs, and periodic inspections.

What we can do for you

You can see completed work in our portfolio. For details on what a modern consumer unit should contain, we've written about it on our blog.
